• the money; making it, saving it, spending it, gambling it, losing it, wanting it
• the ground beneath our feet
• the sky above our heads

• the government; for it, against it, rebellion, speaking out, staying silent, fighting it, taking it over.

• burning bridges
• burning whole cities
